Mikogo, the cost-free solution for online meetings, has released a new version 2.0 of their software this week. The updates provide greater capabilities and ease of the software. Some of these new features include: a meeting scheduler, session recorder, white board toolbar, and a conference call service.Mikogo Co-founder, Mark Zondler:

As the Mikogo Community continues to grow, we receive numerous emails, forum posts, and blog comments, providing suggestions and feedback on our software. This has played a large role in which features we targeted to include, and consequently the new version is a reflection of user demand.”

The interface has been updated for enhanced usability and ease of use. Updates in this 2.0 release include a meeting scheduler that allows you to keep track of all of the online meetings you have coming up, a white board for online collaboration during the meeting, a conference call service so multiple people can join in the video conference simultaneously, session recording for playback and review, copy & paste meeting info and instant screen build up.- Instant screen build-up

Since it was initially launched, the Mikogo community has grown to over 65,000 users, and the updates in the new release were in large part from the requests and recommendations from these users.
